"While work has been done over the years to update the brand in a manner intended to be appropriate and respectful, we realize those changes are not enough.”

Bingo! The woke accomplished the opposite of what they perceived they were doing. I never thought about what color Aunt Jemima was until the left went nuts.

I made pancakes for the grandkids and they said the syrup tasted funny. Sure enough, I look at the label and it’s not Maple syrup I bought. It seems to happen often that I don’t get what I thought I was buying.
