Add SuperCharger change plugs
Hey all,
I added a SuperCharger to my Vette a few months ago and lately it seemed to be knocking when I come down on it around 100 MPH or so, smooths out over 100. Also, lately it didn't want to idle when cold. Today I changed my spark plugs and wires, gaped at .035 and took it for a spin. Made a big difference, idles smoother and just barely noticed any knock at 100MPH (meth kit will fix this). I should have changed these months ago, duh. I thought the stock gap was around .040 so I was in no hurry, it must have been more than .060. Also, a couple of my plugs were wet, must not of been getting full spark. Just a heads up, if you add a SC, change and gap your plugs.
