this morning's experiment:



let's it lay flat. can read the state name on the outside, and USA on the inside.

small drill to let the chain end pass thru.

it's a size 6 ring. just one i had sitting around.

JMO, but I would drill the holes very close together, so you don't see the chain inside the hoop, and also so the chain creates more of a V shape when worn, which creates a slimmer appearance.

Drilling one hole and using a small eyelet to pass the chain through might be a better option.

it is illegal to deface with the intent to defraud, but making coins into jewelry is legal. i already checked this out several times.

Also legal for educational purposes. We used pre-1982 pennies for the Gold-Silver Penny experiments and post-1982 pennies for the Percent Copper in a Penny experiments in my chemistry classes.
