New wheels Mofo's. 2009, 43,000 miles, certified used. (100,000 mile/6 year warranty)

Traded the '05. I don't mind car shopping, as long as I am not in a hurry, and don't NEED one.

Just got back from the Cadillac dealership. Yvonne decided she'd rather have a new SRX instead of a new CTS.

We were in my Avalanche at the time.

Spent 2 hours there... came home "to think about it".

She just left to return there, this time driving her 2006 SRX AWD to see what they will give her on it.

I have doubt.

The CTS Coupe is the sweetest car on the road IMHO. They had three on the floor at the dealer. Two V's and one standard.

Agreed. last month she almost bought a 2011 non-V coupe in metallic red (she looked hot in that car); but it was out of our budget. The new SRX, though... is within budget.

But, I never try to second-guess Yvonne during a car hunt.

Looks like a really nice ride.

I've never bought a new car and I'm not sure I ever will. The depreciation hit is ridiculous in the first few years.

I purchased a 2006 Silverado in 2009 for $14,500. The original sticker was in the glove box. It was something around $31,500. Even if the person paid $28,000 for it. The vehicle lost almost 50% of it's value in 3 years.
