She's retiring and she's just making a little noise on her way out the door. Nothing to see here, move along.

From what I've read, there were 3 million illegal voters. I hesitate to guess that they were all demoncratic sympathizers.

What's funny is all during the election, it was all about the "blue wall" that Trump had to break through to win. Loved the electoral college when it was working in their favor, now they are crying like the little bitch babies they are.

Should have come across the Rio Grande. You'd already have several votes in.

Anyone want to tell me what the outcome of the popular vote would have been if the EC wasn't in place?

That's right. They can't.

They're assuming that the popular vote would be exactly the same.

The EC is there for a reason. Look at the country. We shouldn't be run by a few giant cities...

I don't understand this statement. This is how the EC works too. Ohio is driven by Cleveland/Columbus/Cincinnati with the rest of state sucking it up. California id driven by L.A, with the north (more Republican) part of the state sucking it up and taking what LA dictates for all. Look at the US map and see all that vast area of red, yet it is a neck and neck race because of the small, HIGHLY populated blue spots.

Am I wrong?

All the candidates know how the system works and try their best to win.

Seems to be an excessive amount of butt hurt blue snow flakes.

States are ruled by big cities. That still happens.

But the EC prevents single cities from determining the fate of the country every time. Not to mention keeping small states involved...

Apparently, Boxer has tried this a number of times and it went nowhere.

Trump has already said if it was about the popular vote, he would have spent all his time in Cali, Fla and NY. We've seen that he did spend time in Fla and he won it. I feel certain he would have won NY and Cali if it mattered.

Since Republicans have over 3/4 of the governorships and state legislatures, a Constitutional amendment (which is what it takes) to get rid of the electoral college has about as much chance of passing as a bill to make Boxer president-for-life.
