My Grandfather used to sing it. I always thought it was just to piss off Grandma. I heard the tune in many movies with no words. Now that I heard it together I know why.

Song was actually The Colonel Bogey March.
From Boogerpedia: The "Colonel Bogey March" is a British march that was composed in 1914 by Lieutenant F. J. Ricketts (1881–1945) (pen name Kenneth J.
