The part with the mesh is mine. My wife likes to use the power washer, so lots of stuff gets powerwashed when the weather is nice. That part didn't get done last year, so it is due for a wash now, but isn't really that dirty. The part on the right that is filthy is my neighbors, he NEVER cleans it. The side of his fence that faces my yard is so disgusting, it makes that part of his fence look clean. He and I do not get along, so I pick my battles with him, and telling him that his fence is a pig pen has not bubbled up to the top of the battle list yet. But I have already decided that some day when I'm pretty sure he isn't around, I'm going to power wash the side of his fence that faces my yard. If he doesn't like it, he can bite my ass.

Does anyone happen to know how much the Clinton Foundation has donated to assist New Yorkers during this pandemic?

It must be an embarrassingly huge amount if they requested that it be kept out of the news.

Yes, it is one of the yard implements I bought first when I bought this house, so it was unquestionably the cheapest piece of shit available. It is all plastic, and looks like a toy, cost I believe $20, and probably the oldest garden implement I own. This will be its 25th season in service.

I have gone out of my way to beat on this thing too, figuring that when it dies, I'll buy a better one. I gave away thousands of pounds of rocks to my neighbors from under my deck, moved them all with that wheel barrow. I have ordered dozens of cords of wood, and moved them all with it. I have mixed concrete in it at least a half a dozen times. In addition to all the regular shit one would use a wheel barrow for. Aside from being dirty, and having some concrete residue inside, the only thing "wrong" with it is one of the "rake holder" plastic hooks broke off the side a few decades ago. That thing my not look like much, but when it comes to utility per dollar, I got nothing that compares to it.

FWIW: About half that pile has already been moved with that little plastic wheel barrow.

I have the same one in my garage, use only for little jobs. Does not roll easy at all, especially with a big load. Ever put the back square bottom rest on your toe? Ask me how I know.

BTW, HOW in the sam hell can you mix concrete in a SQUARE wheelbarrow?

Man up and get a REAL one cheap azz.

You know, I rode my bike down to Ace Hardware today to get a bike lock chain so I can lock the bike up and get a cup of coffee at the Wawa.

I ride up on the sidewalk and an employee opens the door and tells me “only internet pickup”

I’m right here. I hand you $10 and get me a bike lock.

Reminded me of this scene.

Personally I hate using my phone for things like boarding passes and concert tickets. Always takes much longer than the piece of paper.
In China it's done using facial recognition. Fast and accurate, even if you're wearing a surgical mask.

I got mad skills. One of my best friends is a retired contractor. He heard about me replacing the support posts and footings on my deck myself, and HAD to come see them (I knew he wanted to bust my balls about all the things I did wrong). He looked them over for a couple of minutes, his only comment was "impressive".

Not a chance in hell. My wife and I are preparing for retirement, and have decided that when we move out of this shithole to our "retirement" home, that I will retire from taking care of the landscaping. I am not buying ANY new lawn and garden tools, period! If this one dies, I'll borrow from neighbors when I need one. If that doesn't work, I'll hire a professional.

Ours was paid off about 4 yrs ago. Our first house had a mortgage rate of 14.25%. The payments then on an $85K mortgage were outrageous.

Good to hear you kept it, it’ll be paid for before you know it

I’m pretty happy I was able to keep it. I remember my parents telling me about the payments on their house with a rate similar to that in the 80’s.

It was summer of 1990, worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. Having our first kid early didn’t help much either but we survived.

Again... congrats
