So my stepson is a gamer. He has a pretty swanky 3 monitor setup downstairs on my old desk.

I told him last week I am commandeering it starting today because I'm sick of using my little notebook computer at the kitchen table.

So I ordered a wireless keyboard and mouse. Supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Not here yet. And the universal docking station is not recognizing the monitors. It was recognizing the wired mouse and keyboard. So I updated the drivers. Now it's not recognizing anything.


So I'm back to the kitchen table.

I guess I don't really understand that some people have adversarial relationships with their parents. I call my mom and my dad every Sunday pretty much since I left home, deployments not withstanding. In all that time I don't recall ever having a harsh word with either of them.

Now my youngest daughter and me have an adversarial relationship, but that's cause she's an addict.
