I never have that problem, our plow drivers stay a good 3-4 FEET away from the edge of the roads so I have to finish their job for them.

Just getting ready to do the final clean up of the walks and driveway. Did them twice last night, in the high wind and blowing snow. Had to be cleared to get my wife coming home from work last night. Today looks nice, it's very sunny, no wind, but still very cold.

No need for that. The snow coming off the plow is what takes off the mailbox off the post. They have since replaced the telephone pole and the new one is about 6" closer to the road. Since the mailbox post is 5' or so from the pole, if they get my mailbox, they'll take out the pole
