Yes, they are fun. And for what my opinion is worth ......I think if they had anything on Cam they would have found it a long time ago. He won't have to give up his heisman 7 years from now. Maybe he will have a superbowl ring to keep it company.

After reading a transcript of Mrs McCoy's interview it seems she said that players were offered dinners by boosters. But that UT officials made it very clear to the players what was and wasn't acceptable.

The only way this is a big deal is if it's an OSU type deal where Brown or the coaches knew and the didn't say anything or if they are covering it up. Then there should be book throwing.

Well there was evidence against Reggie-----a house. Do you really think someone is holding evidence against Cam until a later date? Not so much as a spec has been brought to light......nada zip zilch. Hell even the Bammers have given up that hope.

Yes, but they have dug, and dug, and dug and still couldn't come up with anything, at least on Cam.....maybe Cecil, but not Cam or Auburn. I just figure if there was something out there, as much as a witch hunt as that was, it would have surfaced already. I don't recall all the details about Bush, did they investigate him at the time he was going to USC? Because if so, they weren't very thorough.

I just think the people who keep saying, "Enjoy it while you can because they are gonna take it away down the road." Why didn't they take it away while they were looking? I just don't think it will ever happen.

I think the investigation on Bush took over 5 years. They found individuals who weren't necessarily telling the whole truth in the initial stages remembered things when confronted with criminal prosecution. There was a LOT of stuff uncovered. Cars, a house... even his Limo ride to the Heisman award was illegal. Most of it didn't come out until after he'd left USC and the agent who'd paid for everything got dumped and sued for payment on the stuff.

But the focus with Cam was on Mississippi State and Cecil, not Auburn. I am sure all star players get pampered to an extent. The difference too is that there is no ongoing investigation. As far as the NCAA is concerned, it is a non-issue. I just don't think some Joe Blow will come out years down the road, when cam is making the big bux, with some tape that will change the situation. Also, Cam wasn't driving a new escalade around campus either....just a crappy moped.

Let's see - Cam left Florida under a dark cloud and arrest, went to talk to Mississippi St with his Dad and there was a big scandal there, then wound up at Auburn all clean and pure? Riiiiight.

The issue with Reggie was stuff given to his family, not necessarily to him. I think his folks had a new car and a new house out of the deal. I don't know that Reggie ever got anything.
