And all tuckered out after working at the lake. Did lots of chores that were long overdue. Feels good to get them off the list. Place looks much better inside and out.

Southern pine is a lot different than ours up here. You'd never get grain like that from our pines. The growth rings are a lot tighter together due to the shorter growing season. Much tighter grain with northern wood. Oak for example is a lot harder up here than southern oak. When I was in the wooden staircase business, southern builders preferred cold climate wood.

I did not realize that but it makes good senses.

Having said that, I have known a few northern women who preferred my wood. I don't really know why because I couldn't understand what they were saying.

Good morning Wendy girl....cottage was great with 5 days of super weather, no rain, sunny and about 80 during the day, cool for sleeping at night. A couple of loads to the tip, and brought home a load for pickup. Nice to have a truck again up there.

Too much to list, but what are you looking for?

table tops, coffee machines, bean grinder, oak bartop, pinball machine, coinh electronic slot machine,nautical decor, brass bar rail, blah blah......even an old pizza oven, but it's fubarred by now. Brass glass rack, even a coin operated breath analyzer......and on and on.
