My wife was a Hospice nurse for a short while before she retired. She said the worst of it was seeing the living conditions some of the people are dying in.

This is how we lost my wife's dad a couple of years ago, I hurt for you, it's still fresh for us. We all drew closer, and closer to God. We begged for a miracle, but settled for a peaceful passing. I pray you'll get one or the other. I think God is closest to us in times like this.

Has your SIL checked out City of Hope or the Mayo Clinic? Even the UC healthcare system is doing amazing things.

It's certainly worth it to get a second opinion.

She had the best medical care possible. She had some chemo therapy, and that helped a little for awhile. By the time the tumor was found it was wrapped around her brain stem and inoperable. The tumor has done it's damage, she is nearly comatose. There's no fixing this now.
