Default Finally got the girls out

Sorry, I know this isn't what you were hoping for. Finally had a decent morning without rain and was able to get the cars out and detailed for the Memorial Day car show. Before you ask, no I did not drill holes in my exhaust on the C5.

Yes sir, complete with the factory CB radio. It's a 1979 L82 17,000 mile survivor.

It's really the first time they've seen the light of day since last fall. Pulled the covers off in April but never really had any time to spend with them.

I had it installed with an OE manifold kit and the kit to put the pump in the tank for better pressure control. Can't tell it's there by looking under the hood, I wanted to keep it looking original but give it better drivability.

No I missed that. My '82 had the one year electronic carb (which I rebuilt along with the computer).

I also had factory stainless headers. You have cast iron exhaust manifolds.

Actually, 1981 L81's were the first year of the CCM carbs. 82 should have had the Cease, I mean Cross Fire Injection system with two TBI units.

I don't have headers but have converted to duel exhaust.

Douh! Mine was an '81. You are correct.

After carb rebuild and "de-smogged". Note the headers and plugged air injection ports.

Those headers leaked so I had new ones installed. Here's the engine bay after more cleanup and tasteful mods.
