I Used To Be A Normal Person........

.......not sure I know who I am anymore.

As a man, I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me "Privileged", a racist & responsible for slavery.

I am a fiscal & moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist because I plan, budget & support myself.

I went to high school, paid my*way thru college, earned a degree, & have always held a job. But I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was "advantaged”.

I am heterosexual, which according to "gay" folks, now makes me a homophobe.

I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which makes me a de-facto member of the "vast NRA gun lobby”.

I am older than 60, making me a useless person who doesn't understand Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

I think & I reason, and I doubt much of what the "main stream" media tells me, which makes me a "Right-wing conspiracy nut”.

I am proud of my heritage & our inclusive American culture, making me a xenophobe.

I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies which must make me a borderline sociopath.

I believe in the defense and protection of America for and by all citizens, now making me a militant.

I am proud of our flag, what it stands for and the many who died to let it fly, so I stand & salute during our National Anthem - so I must be a racist.

Please help me come to terms with the new me because I'm just not sure who I am anymore! If all this nonsense wasn't enough to deal with, now I don't even know which restroom to use… and I gotta go more FREQUENTLY!

You're the same but the world is a changing.
Darwin still rules and everyone must just adapt.
Adaptation is more difficult for some, ergo poverty, mental illness, sloth, etc.
Someone else in history tried the "master race" thing once, and we all know how that turned out.
Na, I wouldn't worry too much... I'm sure that you're the same guy that you were before. You adapted well.

Here is my take.

All the cool kids had a good thing going and didn't want the outcasts infecting their partying and good life. Pretty soon one outcast see that there is another outcast that also was not invited to the party. They became friends and learned to get along without the party. A new kid moves in and he's not quite right either and the cool kids don't want him hanging around. He joins the other two and says, "hey, where I used to live, I had a good friend that was an outcast too. I should ask him to come and hang with us. Before you know it, all the not cool kids are not only growing in number, but have convinced some of the cool kids that they don't need to hide the particular trait that they hid in order to be accepted.

Fast forward and there is now an army of too fat, too skinny, too stupid, too smart, too poor, too dark, not dark enough, purple haired, gamer, pierced, dumpy, ugly, pimply, basement dwelling, helpless, medicated, ADHD, Depressed, can't dance, tattooed, and/or over all dorky people and they outnumber the cool kids and are seeking revenge.

These are called liberals and they vote BLUE.
