Gotta admit, my 16yo son who is getting more accomplished on the guitar by the second, comes in when I am watching this video, and says, "Ritchie Blackmore is a guitar God", made me proud!! Enjoy!

You're not the only one that this is happening to.My soon to be 16 yr old son plays guitar has taken all of my cd's and cassettes and my old concert t-shirts.
Only confirms that most of today's music is not good if you're into real rock.
A lot of his friends are doing the same thing,listening to their parents music.

A few years ago I was talking to the husband of one of my wife's employees. He was probably in his mid to late 20s. For some reason, I mentioned "Smoke on the Water" (I don't remember why it came up), thinking that everyone knew that song. He had never heard of it.
Made me feel old

wgaf what a mid to late 20 year old knows. He probably couldn't tell you who fought in WWII, WWI, Vietnam, or if he ever heard of Woodstock.

Ritchie Blackmore and yngwie malmsteen are the only guitarists I know of who play scalloped neck axes, strats in their case I believe. Requires a deft touch.
