Don't trouble yourself with putting it down on paper. Is it OK if me, the Mrs., and our gigantic son stop by for dinner at your place? Between my wife's pallet and Miss Belle's nose (Oh, did I mention my 100 pound GSD?), we can deconstruct the exact contents in minutes. No need for a fancy invitation, a PM with address and preferred time of arrival will be fine. I'm happy to bring deviled eggs made with the traditional family recipe, let me know what quantity will suffice. Thanks!

P.S.: If you think dessert will be light, my wife would be happy to make pie with ground hazelnut whipped cream too. We generally recommend apple or pumpkin, but are willing to experiment!

Well truth be told this is the third year I have been on my own for Christmas. Once the ex checked out it has not been a big thing anymore. It is a shame I used to love Christmas time. I will hoist one for you that day sir

Try to keep it simple, as I do the cooking while the
SO takes care of her Mother.

9 people for dinner.
Standing rib roast.
Bake potatoes.
Salad.
Dinner rolls.
Pie. Cherry or apple, or both. Will know for
sure after we go shopping tomorrow.
