Sure it is! The first Arkansas gaming (racing) swamp rat was bred from a Louisiana Chantreaux swamp rat and an east Arkansas long haired rat back in 1973. Quite speedy. the hard part has been the training of the monkeys. As soon as that rat makes the first turn that monkey wants to bail and head for the tallest tree it can find. Maybe they could use dogs to help train the monkeys
