the problem with Apple is they are losing focus on being the innovative technology and focusing more on the "cool mobile device" company. I will say, their margins on devices is strong, and moving out of China is a smart move for them. They need someone be to their "one more thing" guy....people got used to that and it helped them grow.

Is Tesla overpriced....maybe, but their investors believe in them. Hell, I wish Elon would sell Starlink over to Tesla because that in itself is going to be the biggest cash cow in his portfolio.

I don't keep track of YTD performance since I'm not getting paid on YTD performance managing our own money, but I do remember exactly where we were on Feb. 19th since that was the market peak before the crash and our portfolio peak before we recovered any made new highs eventually.

We're up 18% from Feb. 19th. And that's with me making some dumbass mistakes during baby's first market crash.

That is nuts. And that's with a portfolio that at any given time has a maximum allocation to equities of 65%. So I didn't push all in to equities at the bottom (and didn't accurately call the bottom anyway). 18% in 6 months during a pandemic and a forced economic shutdown DEPRESSION.

The people responsible for this shit are fortunate that the left in this country is too ****ing stupid to figure out what's going on. Dip-shits think Donald Trump giving federal income tax rate cuts to the middle class and to upper middle class types is responsible for their pain.

It's the Fed. Inflating asset prices, and inflating the cost of living, which is a paltry expense for the rich and an enormous expense for working people. Yay, flat screen TVs are cheap. Food, rent, healthcare, and education are not. The overall macro environment may be deflationary, but there are pockets of inflation and the most glaring have been and continue to be (1) asset prices, and (2) basic necessities. HELLO WEALTH GAP. Ben Bernanke should be hung from a lamp post. He is the poster child of horrific Fed policy and inequality and the wealth gap. Rashida Tlaib, idiotic "squad" congresswoman who complains all day about inequality, had no clue who Ben Bernanke was:


That's like bitching about fast-food all day and having never heard of McDonald's.
