I get it. But we can do better. And Trump isn't better (at least he hasn't proven that to me). In the mean time, I'm stuck with the same choices as the rest of you, I'm supporting the candidate that I loath the least.

Clearly I'm in the minority here; but I want to thank everyone for remaining civil...we've proven that it can be done...

Voting for Hillary would be unforgivable

They're not. They're very much left-leaning with a dash of libertarian, and are primarily Millennials. For a Hillary-negative article to make it to the front page, and not end up with a bunch of downvotes (which would put it over on the Controversial tab) is pretty rare. Meaning, even their Hillary supporters are just throwing their hands up. They still don't like Trump because they are enamored with Bernie, but most readily admit that Bernie cannot win.

So you're saying that if the choice was between saving my life and voting for Hillary or me dying and not voting for Hillary, I'd die.

I'm good with that.

Speaking of left-leaning, even Noam Chomsky admits all is far from well in Lefty land.

You can't blame where we are on Republicans.
I never said it was exclusively a Republican problem. In fact, if you read what I wrote, I never mentioned a political party at all.

We keep going back to career politicians cut from the same cloth. This "lack of experience" you keep talking about doesn't bother me one bit. I want someone who speaks his mind and has experience RUNNING A COMPANY...which the government is (and a quality Trump has proven ability with that you seem to sidestep constantly). I could care less that he has a thin skin and a bad temper. I want his fiscal decisions to be more sound. We don't have that now because we have a cadre of lawyers running the government who are easily bought.

I don't know that electing Trump as President will correct every problem that plagues the government, but I believe it's a step in the right direction and I'm willing to take that chance.

We certainly can't do much worse than we already have.

Just think about this. Iron Chef, bill_daniels, and I are not exactly on the same page politically. But we are all planning on voting for Trump. That's really pretty awesome actually.

Lots of people speak their mind, they too don't need to be President. Trump runs dozens of companies, plenty of which have failed. I don't deny that he's had lots of successes. A lot of it was being in the right place at the right time with a lot of money to invest. I don't see the equal to running the country. All that aside, I wasn't opposed to him as President, until he started talking. Now that I feel like I've gotten to know him...he's managed to convince me that he's not as smart as I thought he was. I've got to go with what I see and hear.

I am the exact opposite of you. I didn't like Trump entering the race and said no way would I vote for some fake reality TV dude, but he has changed my mind. I think he is sincere in what he says and I believe he has the ability to make positive changes in our country.

Many of the same things were said 36 years ago about Ronald Reagan. While he didn't solve every problem the country had, he did help to get us moving in the right direction and that momentum lasted for many years after his term was over.

I really don't see Trump going hat in hand or bowing to ANY foreign entity. EVER!

I also feel he understands the meaning and usefulness of delegation, and not attempt to run the entire government as a personal fiefdom. Install proven experts in appropriate positions, to allow distraction free attention to be applied to PRESIDENTIAL matters.

The difference will be readily apparent.

Not sure any actually failed, but yes from what I read he did use the bankruptcy rules a few times to make ends meet.. but never actually went bankrupt..

But hey.. when you play Monopoly you go by the rules of the game right?..

You don't have to like him Craig..

Just vote for him because we do.. and honestly there is no one else out there that is any better..

I will say that one thing about Reagan. The day he was elected, Iran gave back the hostages that Carter let languish. He was an actor too.
I believe the same will happen when Trump is elected. A lot of the BS other countries are getting away with will end as well.
