I burst through the door and it buzzed again as the security guard behind a barred window locked it for me. He said he had been tracking me on security cameras and that I definitely did the right thing by running as those guys have robbed and stabbed several people. Yet, of course, they roam freely. He called me a cab and I was instructed to dive into the cab when it pulled up. I did, and the three guys almost got to me even then. The security guard also said that he'd call the cops but they weren't going to do anything to these guys.

I was about 35 when these two events happened. Today I'm 50. I could not outrun either of them today, pretty sure. I don't conceal carry but certainly can see why people do. If I was packing in New Orleans, I would have pulled it out right then and there. I escaped by the skin of my teeth. At the very least they would have given me a good beating just for making them run so far.

Thanks God I have never has any of the experiences some of you have had.

Except one time; I was the passenger and my Wife was the Driver. We were leaving a Movie when I guy cut her off in the parking lot. Naturally both parties flipped each outer off and I thought that was the last of it. But the idiot wanted to show he was a tough guy and got out his car and approached my wife’s side of the car. I jumped out and before I could run to the other side, the Parking Lot Security raced up and told me to get back into may care and he’ll take care of it.

Yea I know; Parking Lot Security? But this dude was huge and had a Gun … so had no problem complying with his order. He immediately told the guys to get his ass back into the car or he will be arrested for assault. I’m not sure what I was going to do once I got over to my wife’s side of the car, but I was mad enough to break my foot off into his ass and stomp him with the other.

To top this story off, the guys Girlfriend was screaming out of his car giving him crap for making a fool out of himself.

Hah, good one. Here's another for you.

I had been married to my wife for just a few weeks. We were living, literally, in the basement of a friend's house then. One summer evening we were driving along and a Nissan something-or-other swerved around us like a maniac and swooped in between me and a 18-wheeler. As I pulled up to the stop light I looked over at the driver (there where three other guys in the car), and held my hands up like WTF dude?

This enraged them for some reason. I turned right and they followed, turning right out of the left lane and, again, cutting somebody off. I was driving my wife's Plymouth Tourismo, a real turd. They gave chase and tried to run us off the road. All I could think of is "If I can make it to Milton's house, maybe I can even the odds." His house was about four miles away. I was going about 60 MPH and took a left turn at the last minute, which caused the other guys to spin out in a field, which was pretty awesome. I felt much more confident now.

I actually waited for them to catch up, sitting at a green light and then as soon as it turned red I went across, stranding them as traffic cleared. Figured if a cop was around fine and dandy if I get pulled over. Long story short I led them to Milton's house. We had a men's softball team and he was the player/manager. Pulled up honking the horn and sliding sideways into his yard. His front door opened up and, wonder of wonders, he was having a get-together with some of the other players. Any two of them would have more than evened the odds, but there were six of them.

The idiots chasing us pulled up but stayed in their car once they got a look at Tim, Pete, Milton, and the others. Especially Tim (6'-8", 320, all muscle). Tim asked what the problem was. The douche driver said "He flipped us off!" I said "No, I didn't flip you off. But I'M FLIPPING YOU OFF NOW!" as I shoved both middle fingers into his face.

He rolled his window up and tried to take off.

One problem.

Tim and Pete had gone to the rear of the car and, grasping the bumper, picked the rear of the car off the ground. No kidding. This was a rear-wheel-drive car and the tires were just spinning just short of getting traction. This went on for about 30 seconds and the guys inside the car were screaming in terror. Then, after turning the car slightly towards the curb, they dropped the rear and the car smashed over the curb, badly bending a front wheel. Our intrepid group of idiots limped away, leaking fluid and badly vibrating.
