Higher gas prices do have a silver lining at times. It tends to keep some of the local fools off the road so driving is better.

I live on a large lake and many people that have camps live at a distances, that tends to keep them home instead of coming up here.

A lot of those "flatlanders" come from NY city, NJ and Connecticut are buying up everything in sight and are leftist/progressive assholes. Not having to put up with them helps make the higher gas cost much better!

The 9/10ths is actually a federal gas tax that dates back to when gas was just pennies per gallon and that 9/10ths was a sizeable amount of revenue..err...tax for the government.

Doesn't much matter where it goes since the U.S. uses 20 million barrels/day. So, Glorious Leader is releasing a 2.5 day supply and expecting gas prices to go way down. And people actually believe that.

The total to be released by the coalition of countries is 100 million barrels, or a five day supply for the U.S. Yeah, that'll help big time.

Pretty sure Biden commented recently that he could release oil from the reserves, but it would only drop gas prices 18 cents.
