used to get FOX news no sweat....BUT now some stupid crap with Commiecrap cable is sensoring FOX outta the lineup unless we pay another ~60 bux a month......

anyone have any help??

other than walking into their office with a .357????

Get a Roku, download the app and it cut the cable out of your budget. Or buy a Smart TV with Roku built in and do the same thing. Haven't paid for cable in 4 years. Pay a few monthly fees for certain apps, but they cost far, far less than even basic cable.

I was paying like 160/month using a modem for internet from Comcrap.....cut about 50/month off the bill by somehow doing an internet share with wife's daughter about 2 miles away.....so somehow we watched anything we wanted on TV through the daughter's account......we can still watch any other TV shows over cable, but NOT FOX NEWS......funny in that I have a tab open on my desktop machine here now that is showing FOX news live.....but it's on my monitor, both sound and video......wife can not get FOX on her office computer in the back room.....go figger THAT one.......but I have no way to get the signal from my computer to the main large screen TV across the room....
and somehow Direct? TV a sat co. has something to do with this sharing of programming.....as if it was just a second or third set in the same house....

For the Orange Park zip code, the cheapest cable package does not include FOX. The 125 channel version does.

Exactly, why pay for shit we never watch like BET and All Black TV among other things. Hell, I liked CMT for some of the movies and their Last Man Standing re-runs. Even with the premium cable package I don't get that channel, but my parents have the 125 channel package and they get it.

I think Xfinity needs to be menu driven.

Select any 10 channels from column A
Select any 5 channels from column B
Select 1 premium channel
$45.00

Select any 20 channels from column A
Select any 10 channels from column B
Select 2 premium channels

It would be nice, but the various networks pay to have their content available so whether you want it or not, so it won't be like that. Some, like FOX aren't paying the huge fees and know that people will go online or pay for their streaming service.

I have 4 Rokus. After a mandatory update, 3 of the 4 no longer got Prime.

I switched to Firestick. The one I bought last week works the exact same as the one I bout years ago.
