What's going on with posting pictures from photobucket..??

I use to be able to just copy the IMG photo on my photobucket account and then paste it on my post over here and it would show up...Now when I do this all I get is a blank page with a title that you have to click on that goes directly to my Photobucket account..Did the Barn change something or is my photobucket account screwed up since they revised it??..WW

Yeah, something changed either with them or with the forum. you now have to click the 'insert picture' icon and then paste the 'direct link' on the list of photobucket link choices if I recall correctly.

You have to use the direct link and then add the [img] in front and [/img] in back. Not sure why they thought they had to phuk things up.

Hmm, no problem for me
Wayne, click on the thumbnail to open pic like you were going to edit it. On the right hand side you should see the uplink options. Choose the IMG one and copy and paste. What you may have to do now is delete all of the pasted address at the beginning til you get to the first [img] tag.

You have to set up the direct links options. Watch the FAQ video, is the only tutorial they have for the new website.

I do agree, it worked fine for years before they changed it. This reminds me of my military life, everytime we got a new officer he wanted to re-invent the wheel to let all know he existed. I bet photobucket got a new owner or a new "webmaster", and he had to flex his wings.

This is how I finally got it to work as of last month.

I don't know what they did but when I used to click on PB img option, it used to include the [img] [/img] on the link.
Funny thing is, it works on CF but not at the barn...

Now I got it....What I did to make it work was like Sweets said..I just erased the first half of the IMG file that I copied and pasted, I then made sure I had only the part that said IMG at the begining and IMG at the end..Thanks guys.....Sweets, I always knew cats were smart....WW

Ok, looks like we have some guys with a technological challenge.

The photobucket is simple, it is new and like everything new sometimes suck.

On the right you will see a blue link http://s275.photobucket.com/settings/album
On the left click on IMG code. This is to copy link [IMG]file[/IMG]

Go to the bottom and click on the blue "save"

If you want to copy multiple images' IMG code, go to the top of the page, and click on Organize, click it ON

To select multiple images, press the shift key, and click the desired pictures.

Once selected/highlighted, go to the bottom or footer and click on ""LINK""

These are cliff notes, hope it helps


to select a picture from google, right click on the picture, "copy image location", select forum's image icon on top, and paste link to the pop-up.




what I see it is weird here is to insert a link to the forum.
