I hope everyone had a good Independance Day! May the burns heal quickly for those who had too much to drink and still insisted on lighting fireworks This was the first 4th in our new home and it was like a war zone here despite not being legal within the city limits. I have never seen so many fireworks at one time, ever.

It's drier than a popcorn fart here. No fireworks allowed anywhere in the county. Didn't stop some of the local miscreants though......who shall remain nameless.

We found some ancient firecrackers, put aside by my Dad sometime in the 90s. My 4 yr old son had never seen anyone set off fireworks, so his crazy dad set one off for him. It went off about a second after I lit it, but I was smart enough to set it down before lighting. His eyes were as big as saucers...maybe you guys saw the UFO reports on the news?

It was a reg firecracker but louder than an M80...and there's a new neighbor said to be a Smokey so one was enough for me...

Other than that...he watched the booms in the heat and got mosquito bites with Grandma, while I stayed in surfing VB

Here are a couple videos my son took from out back patio. Most of these were from our neighbors and went on for about 1 1/2 hrs. I just thought living in the country was cool. Luckily is has been at or above normal rainfall so there wasn't any burn bans this year.
