Trump Indictment Thread (sorry Zeek)

May as well put this out there, not sure how I feel about it yet. Everyone is reporting at least 7 charges and we won't really know what and how many until next week.

I guess the one thing that I know is true is that this could have been avoided if Trump just didn't have to be Trump about all this.

CARACAS, Venezuela — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said Friday that authorities haven’t detained opposition leader Juan Guaido because the courts haven’t ordered it, but he warned: “It will come.”

Maduro made the remark in a meeting with the international press three days after Guaido returned from a tour to the U.S. and Europe, in defiance of a court order prohibiting him from leaving the country.

Despite the order, migration officials let Guaido into the country after he arrived on a commercial flight at Venezuela’s main international airport.

Maduro said that the day Venezuela’s justice system decides Guaido should be imprisoned “for all the crimes he’s committed,” he will be jailed. Venezuela’s judicial system is stacked with pro-Maduro officials who routinely issue decrees in accordance with the president’s viewpoints.

“That day hasn’t come yet,” he said in response to a question from The Associated Press. “But it will come.”

Not happening. All these indictments by these career politicians are their feeble attempts to hide their own corruption. Trump is the only one who is willing to interrupt their corruption.

Sadly I think many are starting to feel that way. The difference with this one is that it's not a conspiracy theory or a witch hunt, he had the documents and they were recovered from him. I think what's important is how implicit he was to obstructing in getting them back.

Also, if you don't think this same prosecutor won't indict him for January 6th I think you would be wrong. I just fear if elected his entire term would be a waste of time fighting off legal issues.

I served 23 years in the Marine Corps and never saw a General or a Colonel insulting people like that. A POTUS ought to be an ultimate professional.

I supported TRUMP, and that also got me banned from the CF, but this man do have mental problems.

I don't wish him ill but I agree the circus needs to stop. The sad thing is there may still be 2 more to come, where will it end? Every hit hurts his chances and you have to wonder how long before people that have been loyal supporters have had enough. I think we'll get a better idea when the indictment is open and we see what the charges are.

I'm also hearing Meadows has an indictment? Need to look into that more.
