During such displays I was sometimes popping 60 amp fuses I would screw into a 15 amp BX cable lighting circuit....they never lasted long enough to fry the cable, it was a surge thing.....should have seen sparky's comment when he saw what I was doing.....

When my friend Fred was working as a mechanic, they had one of those eight foot wide Sun machines. He charged up a condenser and called the one gas jockey's name.

The gas jockey turned and Fred threw it underhand to him and he caught it. Got ZAPPED pretty good.

Fred was almost in tears laughing when he said " That's the FOURTH time I got him today"
