Cool Looks like the Rough & Tumble website gave me my own video section

I went to the Rough and Tumble Historical Association website www.roughandtumble.org and then clicked on "Photos and videos"

Went down the menu to "Gas engines at Rough and Tumble" and they have 14 of my videos that I took out there from my YouTube channel
http://www.roughandtumble.org/gaseng...roughandtumble

Most of all I'm happy to be able to share these videos with folks that might not otherwise be able to see these engines.

If I'm ever in that part of the country again, that place is a must see.

That's pretty cool; I always enjoy your videos.

Being a mechanical engineer, I always thought it would be fun to have one of those old engines someday to tinker with. Never got to it, & now that I have the time, I have too many aches & pains to play with anything like that.

Once you figure out how they like to start, they start easily ( well, most of the time )

My 1-1/2 hp air cooled Associated Busy Boy starts very easily all the time.

My friend has joined a local club and is getting into steam engines. Not sure what exact machine they are working on. I gave him the link to the RT website and he was amazed.

Rough and Tumble has a Steam School. It's two days over a weekend. It fills up fast though. Teaches how to safely operate steam equipment.

He should find something local so he knows what's going on.

Send this video to him. In 2016, the featured power was steam at the big show, the Threshermans Reunion in August.

This is what well in excess of 100 steam whistles sound like going off signifying lunch time. My chest actually felt "funny" from all the noise.

Here's my friend Roger starting a 10 hp Springfield engine.

This starts extremely easy
