Sharp head pains

Whenever I drink a lot of caffeine I get very needle sharp pains in my head. Some are like lightning strikes and others are steady.

I can take a fingernail and almost like acupuncture, find the exact nerve and press my nail on it and it eases until I let go.

Looking for help from any make believe medical experts or anyone wanting to just make a wild ass guess.

So far I know this:

It isn't the aids
I'm not pregnant

Me and Big Dummy gave up caffeine in October, best move ever. He drinks Propel and I do light 35 cal MM pink lemonade.

Skipping caffeine will create a monster headache, but three days in with plenty of water you will be fine.

I drink too mutch damn koffee in the AM too, two large mugs during the night, anymore, and 3 in the normal waking AM hours so 4-5 of them in a typical day....and I have been getting stabbing pains in the left temple recently too, maybe switch to water during the night.....start buying fruit juice.....or just drink water, hell with it.....

but the headaches going wild when quitting?? great.....

No. Usually 130/70 ish.

These are not at all pressure headaches. These are nerve / zapping "electrical" type headaches and you know how well I get along with electrical issues.

I don't drink any caffeine after about 3:00pm.

Just drop it, nothing of benefit. I never drank coffee so it may have been easier for me, but a Pepsi every morning and I love tea. Three days man is all it takes,and three liters of water/day.

Doesn't have to be coffee. In fact coffee has the least impact.

Diet Coke/Coke/Mio Energy/Monster/ Mt Dew, all have the potential to bring the lightning.

Take a real nail, like a four-penny nail, and put the point directly on the spot that alleviates the pain. Hit the nail on the head with a large hammer, four or five times, or enough that you are sure the nail will not fall out.
