Isn't the human body amazing how it can take so much abuse and keep on going. I watched an episode of Intervention once and the lady carried around a bottle of mouthwash she drank. People stuff their bodies with food, drink, and drugs, yet if you have the right genes, you can continue to function.

You are so right. This guy was so happy and his labs were good.... at least for now. I still can't understand how he could not only drink one bottle but twelve. I would have puked just trying to drink the stuff.

It can damage your liver and other vital organs and cause death. I am going to go with his brain already being pickled so that is one thing not to be worried about.

I really wanted to ask him why and how he was able to drink it but after the looks he was giving me I thought it best to just leave. He had some crazy eyes going that were kinda freaking me out. He was mumbling and I couldn't make out what he was saying...... probably in my best interest anyway.

You'd be surprised at some of the crap people do to themselves and come into the ER for us to help them.
