....the lowest forms of human life I've ever met. I guess it's where all the washed up used car salesman seek employment when they lose their edge.

I have had my eye on the Metro Arms Corp 1911 American Classic II in hard chrome, and the 1911 Contender. I have been to 6 different stores here in the West Palm Beach area and only one was willing to deal with me honestly. One Jackass even told me that he could not sell me a 1911 unless I went through his stores CCW class due to FL state law. I told him to go feck himself and called him a lying bastard loud enough for everyone in the store to hear it including his boss. All these idiots here when you say "1911" is that you want to buy that overpriced used Colt beat all to shit they have been unable to sell for the last year.

Finally on the way home I saw a Pawn shop and decided to stop in and inquire. The owner was a lady and very helpful. She called me about 30 minutes after I left and told me to stop in tomorrow and we would look at the manufacturers website and she would make some reccomendations before she orders for me. It will take much longer to get being it is a small dealer, but at least I will have a dealer I can trust.

Buy online, pay the transfer fee, f the sales tax.

The only gun dealer I deal with in my town is the same guy that does my transfers for me. He only charges $15.00 for a transfer and will order anything I want from just about anybody for dealers price + 6% and that usually includes the transfer fee included. He's a good guy and I've known him for 30 years. The most I have ever paid him over his price was $50.00 and I had to force him to take that much.
I find a deal online, I call him he calls them and normally gets it for less than I can, if he can I pay him the 6%, if he can't he only charges me the transfer fee.

I saw the American Classic at Academy Sports here in town. They have two different versions, a stainless and the black version. The black one was priced at $469, and the stainless at $549.
