Summer Project- Outdoor Kitchen (Pic Heavy)
I know we have a lot of BBQ guys in here, so I thought I would share the project that pretty much took me the entire summer.
I didn't have really any shade in the back yard so I came up with this plan, I started around July 4th and just finished it up this past weekend. It is all out of rough cedar, Tongue and Groove ceiling. The Kitchen is metal studs, after I got the cabinets built I then lifted them up and put trex decking underneath. Then covered them with cement board, stucco'd with a product that is a synthetic stucco, it is suppose to expand and contract a little better in our climate. Then I decided to pour my own concrete countertops, added some crushed glass and polished them out. About 750 lbs of countertop Added a TV and the appliances and I am ready to cook. Now onto the pictures.

NICE work, looks fine.....good layout and the glass in top is nice touch....
little over a year ago a buddy in a single story townhouse development, built a Gazebo and concrete tops and built in everything, but he has a hot tub also....his is 16' sq......Johnny put a little water pump in one end and so recirculates water the length of the top, down a trough in the middle with lights and glass on top to keep the beer out....
