Looking at the trailers I expected a brainless, juvenile, dick-and-fart comedy. Perhaps you expected something different?

Reading people's comments and reviews elsewhere it seems to me that, due to the controversy, many people expected more of the film for some reason.

Regarding the hack...

If it's a hoax, the Obama administration is in on it. What did they gain?

I don't think the hack was faked or a publicity stunt, but Sony being Sony, they are going to try to claw back whatever they can and if that means using the publicity to make some money they will by God do it.

And if ever there was a movie made to watch six months later after it hits HBO/Showtime, this would be the one.

No publicity stunt. We still don't have internet. Every hard drive has been taken from every employee. A small army of IT people have been hired and are working long hours.

At least payroll is almost back to normal.

BTW My personal information is now on the internet, along with all the other employees that did nothing to deserve this.

Personally, I started laughing at "Hector's Rectum is Real" and pretty much didn't stop for the next two hours.

I did not mean to infer that Neighbors was funny...only funnier than The Interview.

I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. I expected it to suck.

Comedy is an odd thing. I remember going to a screening of some pilot TV shows for a small amount of cash. I never even GRINNED and people were practically falling out of their chairs laughing.

That being said, I am a HUGE comedy fan. My favorite thing is laughing. I eagerly await for movies to make me laugh.

Many MANY do. The Interview did not.

I really have no interest in seeing it at all. I didn't like Neighbors very much, not a big fan of Rogan, and don't even know who the other guy is.

They keep using the term "satirical comedy", I'm not sure it means what they think it means...
