Back in the dark ages, bar threads were cut off at 1000 posts, just like CF used to do, which in my "humble" opinion, was stupid. If you want to different than CF, then why try to be CF? So, it was changed.

A few weeks ago Need-a-Vette accidentally closed this one. Someone started a new one (can't remember who) and when NAV realized what had happened she reopened this one and merged the new one in with it.
