That's a no-go. Entomologist says it's non-venemous.

Although to tell the truth, I don't know whether or not that's the same thing as non-bite-umus.

This spidey was released. About the same exact spot as where it was captured.

That's why I identified it before just summarily executing it. I hate to kill something that might turn out to be a member of a beneficial species.

If you have to seek professional opinion to id rather or not an insect is a spider or a tick....thats really sad.
