Pretty interesting to see the social engineering mechanics of how these bastards pull this off. Heart breaking to hear the recording of one old lady who thinks she accidentally mistyped $20000 instead of $200. There should be a special place in hell for these scum bags.

The guys that built the glitter bomb used their time, knowledge, and creativity to the good instead of the bad. It is too bad the bad guys don't do that. But is awesome the glitter bomb guys are smarter and craftier.

You do know that Mark Rober worked for NASA and was part of more than one of the Mars rover landers, right?

I gave one of those Indian mofos so much shit on the phone when my "SSN was cancelled", he actually hung up on me. I even talked to him using my best southern "Indian" accent. It was classic, and it is entirely too bad that it wasn't on tape.

I question their mother's sexual habits, it usually results in a very quick hang up. A couple of times they yell back, and it seems that laughing at them gets them even more angry lol

My favorite one of these was some Indian mofo calls me, and tells me he is from the IRS. I said "Great, which one?" He gets irate, and is screaming at me that he is from the I R S!!!!!! I string him along a little, and then say "Every year, I deal with the Internal Revenue Service departments of the US Federal Government, AND at least 4 different states, which one are you from?" The guy stammers a little, and I said "Is this your first day on the job? You're the worst phone scammer ever! You're calling saying you are from the IRS and don't even realize that there are dozens of different IRSs here in the US?" At that point, I was laughing more than talking, but continuing to rip him, when he hung up.

The funny thing about it is that occurred a few years ago, and I don't ever remember getting another call like that. It makes me wonder if they have an "asshole list", and I made it. If so, I'll wear it as a badge of honor!
