Upstate NY. Yesterday hung the plow on my DD 4X4 pick up. Also have the NH tractor with bucket parked under the car port.

At this point it is now up to Ma Nature!-

Depending on what weather report you get we might get up to 2' of snow supposedly starting at about 6PM today. I have a long nasty, hilly, curved gravel driveway. (total distance with parking area is about 3/8 mile to handle the snow)

When we get it, freezing rain is the worst to handle as it involves a lot of hand sanding. So far we seem to be not in the rain area, they think it will be about 50 miles south!

I spoke to a friend in Binghamton NY this AM. He got 3.5 feet of snow. Left his laptop in the car and spent an hour shoveling to get to it so he could work.

I got about a foot of heavy wet snow that sticks to the shovel. My wife was smart, and parked at the end of the driveway last night, it still took me over an hour to shovel her out so she could go to work. When I finished that, I was drenched with sweat and feeling wiped out. An hour later, my neighbor came down with his snowblower, and did my whole driveway for me!

Beer will be provided!
