Gameroom Barn Bucks: $35999378
Default ZR1 starts at $174,999

About 10k less than I expected. Congrats to Chevy for pulling this off. Shame to the dealers that plan on profiting on this.

It’s probably been mentioned before, but is this car going to be the swan song for GM ice powered vettes? I can’t imagine there will be any ice powered vette that will come after this???

About 10-12 months ago, GM announced a $1 billion investment in the 6th gen LS platform. While I agree with you, and one of the reasons I bought my Z06, but there is still hope for an ICE C9.

We used to have a 1969 Chevrolet C-10.

Of course. It's looking like C8's will likely go into 2028, so I can't even rule out getting one of these. Z07 will be paid off in 3 years, budget for next/last (before retirement) car will be between 250 and 300.

With that budget, I sincerely hope it's not a Corvette.

The next car will be the last big buy. Definitely not limited to Corvette, but not ruling it out. My bucket list car is the Ferrari 488 Pista after my daughter and I tore up the track in it in Las Vegas. I fit, and that car with 710-720 horsepower, is pretty mental in its own right. I'd definitely consider an exotic.

I could probably pay that, assuming it comes with body side moldings.

Oh and I meant to say I’d think there wouldn’t be any ‘more’ powerful ice vette to come after this one. That’s awesome that they are still planning to continue with the LS.

E-Ray or ZR1. Either way, my 'vette purchases seem to have ended with my C7.....

Not going to lie. They got EXPENSIVE, but still true to form, best bang in the world for whom they compete against. Mine was $171,350 out the door. That's nearly 50k more than my first house in this neighborhood, but I have zero regrets. Simply happy I had the means to do it.

That's pretty good pricing which is similar in real value and inflation versus the C6 ZR1 at around $125k in 2009. Porsche pricing has gone berserk and turned me off for the time being unless I win the Powerball. The base 911 is $120k, GTS $170k, Turbo $200k, Turbo S $230k, GT3's are now $225k starting MSRP. The whole lineup is expensive.
