I think Spanish is a beautiful language.

One time, I worked with a man for 6 months who was from Argentina (he was from a rich family of cattle ranchers and he was walking the earth until his dad told him to come home) . He spoke proper Spanish (kinda like an Englishman speaking English). He walked up to me one day and said how he just couldn't stand how BADLY the Mexican workers were speaking Spanish. I mean, he was .

It's my theory that EVERYONE has a problem with language not encapsulating their realm.

I don't feel the "Rosetta Stone" is going to help me speak to Mexicans.

Now come we still call it English? We divorced ourselves from the Brits years ago. Our language now is a ployglot from many languages and newly formed words.

Been to France several times, never had a problem with them speaking English. Only place in Europe where language was ever an issue was south of Naples. No one speaks English there not because they don't want to but because they just don't know it.

I grew up around Mexicans, and took Spanish ever year I had to take a foreign language in school. Never could get speaking it down. I could read/write it like a mofo, but speaking was tough.

When my brother lived in France we went over to see the sites. We were checking into a hotel in Paris and he handled the transaction at the front desk because he'd recently been through the Berlitz course. The clerk listened to him fight his way through it for about five minutes and finally in excellent English said "Have a pleasant stay and let me know if we can do anything for you..."



Petey - learn the Espanol. It's only gonna get worse. Besides if they can speak two languages, there no reason you can't.
