Enzo, the Golden Retriever (and narrator) in the story, has learned a lot from watching TV with his family. As he nears the end of his life, this reflection is how he has reconciled his passing from the family he has served faithfully for most of his life. He wants to come back- but this time as a human.

It's a book every dog lover should read. Heartfelt sympathies on the passing of the fur-kid- I've been down that road myself a few times, and it never gets any easier.
