Great list Wendy!

I'd like to add a couple of sights to see that are very local to the Weatherford area. Weatherford is known as the home of Mary Martin, Larry Hagman and former Speaker of the House, Jim Wright. The area is also rich in western history. If you saw Lonesome Dove, the main characters the story was based on, cattle drivers Oliver Loving and Bose Ikard, are buried here.

This gun range is just around the corner from the Hampton Inn where folks are staying.
