What it's like in a scam call center

Still hard to believe that people fall for this, especially when they state that Microsoft is going out of business. Interesting that they can approximately locate their location.

I don't understand why the US government can't just drone strike these call centers. Do that a few times, and you'll dramatically reduce the number of scam robocalls. These people are terrorists....economic terrorists. Either our government should go after them directly, or allow private companies to do it with letters of marque.

Our .gov doesn't have any skin in the game. They could GAS. If they or the legit companies were losing money directly, they would be involved in short order.

You would think that government employees, even military families would be getting these calls. They might not fall for it, but they are still suffering the harassment. I have to answer my cell if it's a local call, because I'm never sure if it's a customer whose number I don't have programmed.

Maybe we should just let Hillary know that those call centers have info that would lead to her arrest if made public, and let her deal with them.

Watched it this morning. Been barraged with these calls since then. I believe watching the video gets you on a call list.

I don't know, but I've been getting them all of the sudden, and I've never had one call before.

Speaking of scam calls, today I received a call from +1-234-567-8900. They left a voicemail. Social security number scam.

Yeah the SS scam is the thing now for this low life ****s. I've gotten over 10 calls using spoofed numbers. The last one I received yesterday included a call back number. So I reported it to the inspector general. https://oig.ssa.gov/report

My theory, the video is on Youtube, owned by Google. We all have Google emails, tied to our phone numbers. Some how the scammers are able to access the phone numbers from the users who viewed the content, and then put the number on the scam list? Plausible?
