Could have used 12”x12” or 16”x16” CMU’s and there’d be no blocks turned the wrong way.

Btw-
They manufacture these concrete units specifically for such purpose as a shed or other light construction building.

That one block is the key to the whole design
Actually, it still supports the skid, so it still supports the the whole load. It just got turned because there was a big bolder in the way. I tried to dig it out for a while, but it was just getting bigger as I dug. I said the heck with it and turned the block. Yadkin said it was OK

I would have told you to set the building on the rock. No block at all. Treated lumber, joists-on-ground. Fill the "box" with crushed stone.
