Default Seat Brace LOL
Earlier today I responded to a CF thread regarding car shows and I remembered that the drivers seat has been broken for few years. I've had in my mind the way I was going to fix it but, never bought the hardware. It always made a "squeeky" sound and it bothered me a bit.

I went to home depot and bought a long sheet of steel, few bolts w/nuts & washers and got busy. To my surprise the seat's left side was broken in half. The seats back's decliner mechanism was what was holding it together.

I got the idea from an X-Ray I saw years ago.

Check it out













I gave the seat rails and all the jack 19mm tool and butterflies a new coat of paint.

To my surprised I found out it is Made In Canada. How about that Sweet???



The E-Brake was harder to set than on my 96. My 96's is a new E-Brake so I took the plastic cover and gave it a coat of lithium grease and now pulls very easy.

There's your problem, made in Canada. Apparently the Canucks a just as ambivalent about quality as they are participating in keeping the world free. At least they're not as bad as France, I understand the French surrendered to Osama Bin Laden yesterday.

Well, in that case I do not remember any fat girl(s) driving Betty Boop.

I think I bought it like that and it just got worst with time. That crap is made out of plastic. The more I dig into the C4 the more I find how cheap GM designed these cars. The plastic they used is weak.

The fenders size/tire size design failed.

The door glass design failed. Tell me at least of one C4 out of the 14 production years that do not have window alignment problems.

I like the way the C6 glass works. It lowers a bit once you depress the door lock button. Lets see what is going to happen once that relay or actuator fails.
