Default What’s something that really pisses you off?

I’ll start:

People that don’t return their shopping carts to the cart corral. Especially when they leave their cart right in the middle of one or more open parking spots.

People who park in handicapped spots illegally.

Try shopping at Aldi. The European chains mostly all solve this problem by requiring a refundable coin to use a shopping cart. In Europe, it's a one Euro coin, here, they generally use a quarter. And for the price of a quarter, Aldi and their customers don't have to worry about loose carts all over the lot. Their customers will voluntarily put their cart back in the corral right next to the store, neatly....all to get that quarter back. It's psychological genius, saves you from being inconvenienced and having your vehicle damaged, saves the store from having to hire expensive cart wranglers.

I think every store should do that. It's simply a matter of training your customers to do what they ought to be doing anyway as a matter of common courtesy.

I leave my quarter in there and dump the cart in the weeds behind the parking lot. Next guy can earn the quarter.

What REALLY PISSES ME OFF? Politicians who think their ideas on how to spend our money mean something. They are SUPPOSED TO BE at the will of the people. These modern, pathetic, leftist loons giving this country away really frosts my balls.

Except that having to have a quarter on you is itself an inconvenience. I do not walk around with change in my pockets.

That’s something that pisses me off about Aldi. I’m not going to **** around on a cold, windy winter morning trying to fish a quarter out of my pocket to rent a GD shopping cart.

That's happened to me a few times. In practice, though, who doesn't have change in the ashtray, center console.....somewhere in the car? If you're a neat freak and that's NOT you, it shouldn't be an inconvenience to keep a couple quarters in the car just for such an event.

I usually keep a handful of quarters in each vehicle for the coin operated car wash. I like to clean my engines every so often, as well as the bed of my truck.

Morons that walk up to the counter at a fast food place and don't have a clue what to order - as if the menus somehow magically change overnight. There is no mystery about what McDonald serves and gawking at the menu over the servers with your mouth gaped open like you are overwhelmed at ordering a damned hamburger is enraging.

Then, do you think they'll have their debit card ready ? No, its 60 seconds of some twit digging in her purse to find something they use and need nearly 5 times a day.

Not much "really pisses me off." I don't get "outraged" at stuff either. Life's too short to go around pissed off at minor inconveniences.

Okay, maybe slow drivers in the left lane and drunks who kill people and don't take responsibility.

Well, what if you're not sure when McRib season actually starts, Mr. Smartypants? You'd have to scan the menu, just to be sure you can or cannot order a McRib.

Full Disclosure: I haven't been to a McDonalds in years. Whataburger is my go to burger joint.

Drivers who have no clue wtf "right of way" is. Every single day I go through this.

I can be pulling out of a parking lot on to a road and a person will just stop on the main road to let me out! I can't because cars are coming the opposite way and they don't have to stop for me.

I'm in the car "wtf are you doing? You have right of way, go already!"

Exactly. I'll drive my car, you drive yours. I don't need anyone to stop traffic to let me out.

Also, I am pretty sure NO ONE understands what to do when a traffic light is out or what to do at a 4 way stop.

I forgot to mention my wife being in the car when this goes on. "you're always in a hurry!"

I'm not in a hurry, he has right of way and needs to just go already

I think every store should do that. It's simply a matter of training your customers to do what they ought to be doing anyway as a matter of common courtesy.

I look at it as getting a shopping cart for twenty-five cents. That's a really good deal, considering you can cannibalize the wheels and casters and sell the rest for scrap. Also, those shopping carts are handy around the barn or shop for moving materials. It isn't like you are stealing it if you are paying something for it.
