I think I put a pox on that guy................

I think I'll stay old skool, it looks pretty good. The biggest problem using the longer stock style shifter with this ball is that it leaves a lot of thread exposed. If you look below the ball you can see the part I had to make. I cut some tubing to size and bonded it to the lock nut, then painted it black. Had to be careful to leave the reverse ring enough room to work, turned out OK.

Kidding aside, I like the Cue Ball look. As for your mods, they add some engineering
to the look rather than just a skinny stick( that would look like a Tootsie Pop).
