had them tested......

one came back positive.......

Get the lead out and see if it starts the car. That's the acid test. If it doesn't, then get a new one with your charge card. A new one would get you to DC and back.

I remember back in the early 50's, my Dad bought one. Us kids were amazed at
the green "snake" he could summon just with the flip of a few switches!
