Fair enough. I did a cursory search. Didn’t find anything where someone at the top said “we hate gays” or something to that effect, probably won’t either. Suffice it to say announcing they are not going to contribute to certain charities anymore speaks volumes, as does the controversy they found themselves embroiled in. Clearly they have a successful business model and the food is good. I just choose not to patronize them for what appears to be a pretty clear position. If it looks like a duck...

There's a sandwich place near me that has great sandwiches, especially the BBQ chicken. 40 different sandwiches on the menu, plus some Mexican and Asian food. Not exactly fast food, a little pricier and prepared to order. You know what? He's closed on Saturday and Sunday. You know why? Because the place is so jam packed the other five days that he doesn't need to be open on the weekend.

He doesn't turn over much help, either. He pays well and where else can you get a job in food service with weekends off.

Used to love El Pollo Loco, but they jumped the shark with all the new crap they're trying to do. Sammiches, Jersey Mike's FTW. Won't go near a Subway. We had Potbelly in Dulles airport and they were pretty good. For burger's, which I rarely get, I'm a Five Guy's fan. In n Out just kills their meat so bad it turns dry.

All of these pale in comparison to the good local joints in the south bay.

5 guys is definitely damn good, but you definitely pay for it. That said, I would kick someones ass for some In-N-Out. Been way too long since I had that.

Dude! Imagine Subway @ Camp Victory in Baghdad. Yea, I know but it was only one of like four or five places other than the Chow Hall to eat for a year. I'd get it just for a different taste. When I left there, I fukking didn't eat BK, Popeyes, and Cinnabon for like a long while. The last time I ate Subway?

Oh yea, Taco Bell. That was the only places to eat. So, MREs, Chow Hall, and those fast food places. That was fukking it. The Chow Hall wasn't actually bad but was the same taste after a while. My taste buds were like fukk you pal, I'm going into hibernation.

As a friend Mark you still think like a Liberal. You'll watch Robert DiNero movies even though he said **** President Trump or any other actor who trashes our President. You'll listen to musicians who are Liberal that trash our country and President and have been doing this for over 50 years. And you find it immature when people won't listen to the music or watch those movies.

A lot of people say **** President Trump. A lot of them said **** Obama and still do. We’re allowed to do that. I listen to and watch early Springsteen, Neil Young, Deniro, Tom Cruise, etc. because I like them, not because of the of their politics. I'm also allowed to not patronize an anti-LGBT establishment because I am anti anti-LGBT. Ironic? Maybe.

Perhaps I should see it differently when someone refuses to appreciate an artist whose politics they disagree with.

I appreciate an artist with whom I disagree. I tell them, "Get your money fukking elsewhere".

For example; I think the movie Shawshank Redemption is a top 30 or 40 of all time. Will I buy the movie? Fukk no. Will I pirate the shit out of it because Tim Robbins is a bleeding heart liberal, enough to do as many currently and kneel before their overlords? Yes, I'll pirate the shit out of it. Am I punishing all the others connected with the movie? Probably but I'm sure that's not the only movie most will ever work.
