Help me out here, how is it an unlawful order to protect U.S. citizens and property? I was in the military and wouldn’t have remotely thought such an order to be unlawful.

C’mon Mark, you’re better than that. It IS their job, and it’s also the fed gov’s job and the military to protect you. If a riot entered your neighborhood would you care who helped protect you and your family? I’m betting not. The mayors/governors/police chiefs etc that have stood back and neglected their duty in protecting innocent civilians and their property during this crisis need to be tried as the treasonous criminals they are.

The military doesn't arrest civilians, they detain and hold until the civilian authorities take over.
