Had the misfortune of renting on in Denver a few years ago. Flight was diverted, thus arrived late. By the time I got to the car rental center, all that was left as an FJ. Very uncomfortable to drive. Wanted to return it before leaving the lot, but it was already 2:00am and I had an hour drive to the hotel.

My opinion is that it was a steaming pile of shit.

Wife bought a 2011. We still have it. Worst blind spots I've ever experienced. Other than that I don't hate it. It's no Wrangler though.

I remember Car & Driver said it had a blind spot you could hide an aircraft carrier in.
