What you guys using? I just purchased the Samsung Moment w/ andriod for when I get home next month. Full touch screen and the qwerty key board. Bought one for the girl also she is using now and loves it took some time to get used to it but she was due for a upgrade...I was using the instinct which I liked alot but got to stay up with the tech world! here is a shot of the phone...

I do not travel to or thru parts of Los Angeles or Fresno unarmed. Ever.
Pepper Spray and collapsible police baton in center console every day, all day.

9mm Ruger in locked gun case in rear compartment when traveling.
The 9mm is uncased and within reach if driving LA at night.

thats why I love the south I can have a loaded weapon anywhere in my car, being military I can carry in most states that I frequent with the same privleges as a CCW holder

Although I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. My contract is up and I have no idea whether I'm going to do Blackberry, something that runs Windows Mobile, or *gasp* and iPhone.

LG Rumor. Does all I need to do, talk, text, and pics. Although my contract is up in a couple weeks.
Sprint's gonna have to give me something good, for me to renew my contract, or I'm going with Boost mobile. It's Sprint/Nextel's pre-paid service, so you get their coverage. And for 50 bones a month, you get unlimited everything. Talk, text, pic mail, and web service. Can't beat that!

Had the Rumor for a few weeks until I got my instinct. I like that phone I think thats why I picked the Samsung Moment where the Rumor lacked the Moment picked up i.e the bigger screen bigger pixel camera plus the andriod w/ apps. Should check it out, my other choice was the HTC Hero but I did some looking around and the touch screen is pretty "touchie" and alot of mistakes can be made

I have some Verizon windows mobile touch screen thing that doesn't have a cool name, just some letters and numbers. It sounds like crap and the OS is always doing something weird.

It's my work phone that they gave me, otherwise I don't carry a cell phone around.

I'm currently using Boost. Their service sucks hard. Texts get lost all the time, calls get dropped all the time. And there handsets are straight out of 1990 in terms of features and technology.

Some people have used Blackberrys (8350i, 7100i) on Boost, and while they're happy with it, I don't think I like Boost enough to go in that direction. Before picking up a Boost phone and porting your number to it, read up on Boost at HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource. Oh, and once you port your number to Boost and decide to switch, you lose your number. As a pay as you go operator, they're not obliged to port your number out like the post pay services are.

I use a Blackberry Curve from Sprint/Nextel. It's the worst company of any kind I've ever dealt with but they are the only ones with a reasonable Direct Connect feature. I have 100 misc Nextel phones/radios that I use in my company.
